Maricimon, a Demon Beast Digimon sometimes referred to as "the Thirteenth Deva." It was created alongside the twelve Digimon known as the Deva, trained and disciplined to fight alongside them as one of them. However, Kumbhiramon played a trick on Maricimon before the Deva were to appear before the Digimon Sovereign for duty. Maricimon was wounded, left for dead, and forgotten. Fallen from grace and unrecognized by the Digimon Sovereign, it holds a deep vendetta against Kumbhiramon. It is now an agent of chaos, simply doing as it pleases, nigh unstoppable due to being as strong as a Deva. One of the only things it kept from its life before the incident is the Bǎo Knife, through which it channels its negative energy into the form of a great blade.

Treasure Knife: Maricimon attacks the opponent with its Bǎo Knife.
Arbuda: Maricimon channels its anger and spite into its Bǎo Knife, surrounding it with a black aura in the shape of a great sword. It then slashes and stabs the opponent with it, chilling them to the bone.
Black Cat Nail: Maricimon slices the opponent up with its sharp claws.
Scorned Dagger: Maricimon moves treacherously and stabs its opponent with the Bǎo Knife.

Maricimon's name is derived from Marici, a Chinese figure associated with the Twelve Heavenly generals upon which the Deva are based; so closely that she is occasionally considered one of them. Maricimon's design, and some of its story, is derived from the Cat, which is sometimes included in stories of how the twelve Chinese Zodiac animals were chosen. Often, Cat is tricked by Rat, ending up in either simply misfortune or Cat's death, which is used to explain why Cats hate Rats.
