This was based upon the Frill Shark, a "living fossil" that displays features found in ancient shark ancestors sush as the Cladoselache, sush as bein more eel-like and having smooth skin. The crowning feature, however, is the Frill Shark's frilly gills(obviously, exaggerated here). This may beg the question "Why does he have nostrils?" All in due time, my children. All in due time...
